I never noticed this before, but what is it about the number 4570 ?

EDIT. Just as I posted I thought of it. .45-70 ? Not enough coffee this morning.

I figure tree guys are mostly taking trees down because they are diseased, rotted or a danger tree, much of which is going to yield some marginal wood. But the majority of it is often still good.

Most of the wood itself isn’t bad at least for firewood. It’s their cutting that’s awful.

Started retrieving some of the trees I have on the ground for my sawmill, cut 8s,10's,12s,and 16 footers.. all plus 6 inches of course.

Henry makes nice rifles, pretty rifles, I do not like the way they load.. And I'd rather shoot the big boomers through a pistol.
