Jery Dunn Tach-N-Go and Forks

   / Jery Dunn Tach-N-Go and Forks #41
I’ve had several sets of Jery’s quick attaches and MOVABLE forks. On my B2620, and now BX2760. The only thing I really want is his 3 Point Pal, which can use the movable forks. That incorporates a fixed straight rear blade. The forks store on the 3 Point Pal out of the way when not in use. I drove to meet Jery when I bought my items. He is a great guy, and his inventions are second to none. I wish I had use for his grapples.

Questio. What is the 3 point pal? Pictures anywhere? I have his Tach-N-Go for his fixed forks on my BX2230. Love them. Jon

It is a frame like the headache rack of a set of movable forks, but it mounts on the 3point. If you look on YouTube, you’ll find it. It will allow you to use the movable forks, but it includes a fixed rear blade tight to the rack facing rearward.

I would LOVE Jery’s system, but I can’t justify the expense - especially with the 30% exchange rate. Meanwhile, I do have the Bxpanded bucket forks - it’s just that the lift capacity out at the end of my Kubota BX25 FEL is limited.

According to undated PDF format article in Farm Show News Dunn Quick Tach weighs 52 pounds.

Looking at farmhouse.com that article is from 2011. Also article mentioned a fixed set of forks, where Jery now offers an adjustable set of forks. Jon

Expensive yes but great quality and very light weight which is a huge factor. Cry once folks say... the adjustable forks have also been awesome. Sure glad I didn’t buy his fixed forks.

Actually I have Jery's fixed forks along with his Quick Attach Tach-N-Go, his Loader Buddy with Hydraulic Thumb, and his hydraulic 3-pt Top Link, which both run off his custom 3rd valve kit. I truly can't say enough good things about Jery Dunn & his Mytractortools.com equipment/service. I find myself using the Fixed Forks quite often, loading & unloading both truck & trailer stuff, moving/hauling root-ball trees, moving brush piles, hauling logs & cut off rounds, stirring up burning pits, & tons of other general use stuff I would have never thought of doing if I didn't have them. They're super strong & light too!! In truth I don't really do anything with or on pallets at all, but boy I sure seem to have those forks on a lot of the time! Swapping stuff on & off is unbelievably simple & fast with Jery's Tach-N-Go. Great system & great build quality, well worth the investment, plus a great guy to work with!!

Yes, you've said that in all four of your posts. And only that. Nothing else on any other topic.

plus a great guy to work with!!

I'll bet. With hm. Or for him.

Is he paying you well to advertise here for him? Is he paying TBN's ad rates?

Mark, have you tried measuring your FEL lift capacity with Jerry’s front QA? Since it moves the FEL bucket forward a bit, and both of our BX 25s have pretty limited lift capacity to begin with, I was worried about that. Somewhere on another thread I had calculated how much the lift capacity should be reduced, and I was wondering if you’ve ever done a real-world test.

Never did any measuring but before I bought I spoke with Jery about the additional offset. He gave me the measurement and it was quite small I thought. Seeing the design once received I was impressed. Installed it and have never removed it but I swap between my forks and bucket often and super quickly.

In my real world use I have maxed out the fork lifts moving landscape blocks but I can't say what percentage I am losing with the QA. Whatever the reduction is, I think it is plenty worth the versatility and convenience it brings! I haven't noticed a difference in moving dirt, etc. with the bucket.
