This is not just PC, this is someone desperately trying to make something out of nothing.

This IS just me, maybe..., I often think the whole Web is continuously monitored, and depending on who picks up on something like this, they will feed the issue, trying to get someone jacked up enough to build on the statements that were made and take off on their own raising it to another level.

This in turn, indirectly causing people to distract each other... then they move in, in other ways, and attempt to sway you to their way of thinking, maybe by voting for they candidates, their ideas.

I am not saying it is the Democrats, but that is what they are doing now, and all for the vote or to cause hate in the existing system !

Sorry if this make it a political thing, I was just trying to make a point about what the web is and where it is going... Big Brother IS Watching You !

A bit ironic I am literally walking out the door of the Chinese Consulate from picking up a Visa for my first trip to China.

It is sad we are a country founded by people from all over and yet so many of us live with fear, hatred, and intolerance.

Travis may have made a blunder under the "PC Police Rules" some people feel we need to live under in today's world, but he makes a very valid point about THE CHINESE PEOPLES REPUBLIC flooding us with cheap crap and being made with almost slave labor.
To me, that is a much bigger issue that you could of at least touched on in your moral outrage!

You can take exception with how China competes in the global market and that is understandable, but please refrain from ethic slurs of Chinese people just trying to make a living.

This is not a matter of being politically correct. This is a matter of respecting people no matter what their ethnic background is. The more lines that get drawn between us the harder it is to look past the differences. Yes, I have a chip on my shoulder when I see people being disrespected for their ancestry and I always will. We all should. What is the matter with equal is equal? Enough said.

I very seldom read this thread, now I just spent over half an hour on it reading all the whinning and crying.
Personally I would not care if we purchased nothing from Communist China, I'm also not real enthused about Japanese products, and I do my damnedest not to buy anything from Vietnam.
That's my take and I'm not overly concerned about what anyone thinks of it. :dance1::drink:
