Nice! Is that a 2 inch receiver tube hanging off the back end?

Yes, it can be pulled from either end.

I actually made a second 2” coupler making it longer and adjustable. When turning it came a little to close to the back of the side by side. Also, with the tailgate down it had to be below or above it. Now it’s perfect. IMG_2416.JPG

Even with the tailgate so I can split right into the bed

ken: Is that an Eason Made Ultra? It appears to be, if so, do you mind me asking how much it ran with the 4 way? Also, is that wedge hydraulic adjustable?

Yes, this an Eastonmade Ultra. It was $3500 delivered to my house. I waited about 6 months or so for them to be traveling by my area to avoid the $800 in shipping costs.

Andrew from eastonmade is excellent to deal with and responded to every email, text and Facebook message I sent. And I sent a lot!

The ultra does NOT have any extras like log lift or hydraulic wedge available ... it’s essentially their economy version but it’s still commercial. This thing is amazing !!! I filled a bed of a pickup 6.5’ bed in 10 minutes or so. It’s simply just fast!

I had a Huskee 22 ton which worked very well for me. This is a huge time saver over that machine.

Wow! Good to know. The time saver a lone would be worth the price difference over a standard ~$1200 splitter (to me). How did you keep an eye out for him traveling near you area, Facebook?

Weeping willows here, become GIANTS, and get there fairly fast... I have none of the problems described above.

I have quite a few of them on my property...

SR

My experience is the same...which is why I suggested them. They grow rapidly and get get very large

Yes, just stayed in contact with him. They frequently do shows throughout Midwest etc, so I stayed on it.

I agree. I literally feel I paid for life. Does the exact same thing as my old splitter, Just faster....

Burn ban was lifted! So I will burn scrub trees, brush and branches in one county on Saturday and in another on Sunday.

I'll let you know if the smoke bothers me, if it does you might have to stay in one county and point your fan in another direction........

I did get a visit from the big red trucks one time. The wind picked up about the time my fire went all Smokey. I was trying to keep it hot enough but there was just too much moisture in the pile. The fire chief got called out and he said he would go talk to the people that called on me. One fireman told me I needed a land clearing permit, another one told me to pull the pile apart with my Grapple, keep the fire smaller and hotter and go ahead and get it burned up. Ever since I get the regulation size pile rip roaring before I pile too much on it.
