Red stabil isn't worth the bottle it comes in, quit using that stinky crap years ago. I use the Marine Stabil (blue) and it's expensive, in all my e-gas powered equipment plus a but of sea foam in every gas can full without fail.

I've had great luck with the red, been using it for 10 years and haven't had a problem yet with stale fuel. Saying that, I don't believe there's ethanol in our fuel, least ways not the fuel I've checked.......Mike

In my diesel's it's always Powerservice and a biocide. I learned the hard and expensive way about algae years ago and I NEVER use B20, That stuff is an algae magnet.

I don't see how people refine fryer grease and use that for fuel, I'd think that crap would really grow algae.

I know a few people that used fryer oil in the grease car (truck) conversions and they did good. Also worked with some of the bio diesel producers using the old fryer oil to make bio diesel and used several hundred gallons of it without problems you do have to understand the differences between petroleum and bio diesel and be prepared for them. I did not run it in the fall or winter. I actually like the B20 but it has become hard and expensive to find.

Nice rounds in your sig picture. I need to do that but I never have a camera with me in the field.... I'm well prepped for B20. I avoid it at all costs. Smells good, thats it. I see GM discourages it's use in Duramax engines.

Better not be corn liquor in diesel fuel...... Government mandate states 10% corn liquor in all gasoline sold retail in the country. Of course when it costs $3.50 in energy to produce $2.00 of corn liquor to add to gasoline, it's a looser and always has been. Without government assistance (corporate welfare), corn liquor distillers would all go bankrupt in a short time.

Look at it this way, your taxes help support the distillers and the e gas is crap anyway. Welcome to Amerika, land of the enviromentally correct at any cost.

Stop and think who actually has the political power to buy enough congressmen to get those billions of $ of Federal corn subsidy enacted.

I'm fairly certain they stopped using toxic denaturants after the '50s. Most are bitterants, like in antifreeze. Check out the Poisoner's Handbook for scary details on the ones used during prohibition.
