I am looking for game camera suggestions, something basic. I don't need wifi or cellular connections. I do need decent night vision, B+W okay, no flash, and a memory card that I can pull and put in my computer. Rechargeable batteries that will last a few days. I did a search and of the few threads I found, half the cameras were no longer available or had way more options ($$$$) than I needed.
Thanks

I bought several of these, local walmart $28. You can use 8 rechargeable AA batteries or simply wire to one 12v rechargeable battery.
For $28...they work great.View attachment 623289 20191001_182255.jpg

One of our sons and we have about eleven Bushnell "Trophy Cam" game cameras in use (five for security purposes, six for game). I don't have the exact model number handy but there are several in this series. They work well for us. We don't use rechargeable batteries but seldom have to change the batteries.

Browning makes a good camera. They are highly rated and reasonably priced.

Wildgame Innovations that you buy at TSC have worked well for me. All the others have only made it one season.

I've got a bunch of the "bargain" cameras. Don't brother. The one Browning from 2015 is still performing like new. The great buy/ value pack cameras are at 50% failure a year later. I dont need 2854 pictures of my connex in one day because the camera trigger went bonkers.

ETA,
A set of fresh energizer batteries will last about a year. I really don't think a solar set up is worthwhile.

I have a Stealth Cam MODEL: STC-*‐G42NG that is about a year old and seems to do pretty good. Since this is the first I have owned I do not have anything to compare it to. Takes pictures or short videos.

I have about ten years using game cameras;Brownings are the best(IMHO) and Bushnell's a close second.Forget rechargeable batteries and purchase lithium's.I easily get six months of video's(20 sec.);even over the winter.Black flash won't spook game or alert people.
Wildgame cameras are good for target practice.

Another vote for the Browning. They are more expensive, but mine are 5 years old and have great battery life. I change them once a year.
