Sounds like you didn't have a thorough pre-delivery inspection. That's awful. I'm sorry to hear this. This could have been dangerous. If any cast aluminum bits have stripped or galled threads, push them to replace the whole component.

Yes your stealership messed up! They should come to your house to complete the pre deliver inspection and I would not accept anything less. Let them put the bolts back on and grease everything again as well.

It was my first tractor purchase. I drove it home from the dealership with their trailer late on a Friday afternoon. Apparently they did the predelivery at the dealership, but they missed these bolts. I'll get to the bottom of it!

Looking at your videos the bolts go thru a heavy plate,
is that plate part of the sub frame for the backhoe?

Just a guess but if that is the backhoe sub frame it was installed, likely at the dealers and
my guess would be whoever mounted it used the original bolts not the longer ones that should have came with the sub frame.

Also the threaded holes will not have threads to the full depth, attempting to install bolts that long could result in broken castings.

Even so, its evident bolts were to short (20mm is more like 3/4 inch in imperial).... This is where the "stud" and nut and lock washer concept shines as a fix...

-- And, absolutely what Lou said above: most likely the bolts weren't designed to reach the very bottom, just close. I'd be guessing the right bolt length would be closer to 40mm. (If I had more time, I'd pull one of my rear tires, remove one of those bolts and measure it...)

Lou-- I believe that's a factory thing, as the BH support frame that extends out to the rear is welded to the forward part of the frame that supports the FEL, at least on my 2310. I bet it's the same on the newer ones, too. That's a factory-installed option, which is why it's very difficult, if not impossible, to add a M-F BH later, and why I ordered mine with the BH.

Here's what mine looks like.. no extra charge for the dust! Note that there are those recessed bolts as well as some larger flush-mounted ones.

Unless it is designed to be removed or dropped down with those bolts removed from both sides, if so studs would prevent it from dropping down unless it can be side shifted to remove.

What dust? I am surprised that it is not easily removed with only some of the bolts holding it all together and several being recessed below that plate.

I wonder who makes the loader and mounts for the GC Series in Australia? The mounts appear to be different than the ones used in NA. It kind of looks like the installer re-used the existing hardware after installing the mounts instead of using longer bolts.

Looks like the new FL1805 FEL with the mounting brackets and loader bucket painted red instead of charcoal or black.
