For viewing on the computer, from 15 years of doing our newsletter and have to watch size of it, I've found that pictures resized (can use Paint) down to 500 to 700 pixels wide will "pop" right up even on DSL internet vs. VERY SLOW TO LOAD typical 2400 pixel or so wide ones right off your camera. And really no loss in quality for computer viewing.
Use Paint, folks, before posting your pics.

Beautiful sunset! What lake might that be?
Sunrise on May 7, 2019 @ Cranberry Lake, NY. Thanks!
Great pix, thanks for sharing! I've hiked both of those places & many more in WV, one of my fav states!
Here's a few I took this past Sunday at Lake Hope State Park in SE Ohio. Nothing like yours, but not too shabby for an iphone 8!
Ansel Adams had nothing on you. If you aren't a professional photographer, perhaps you ought to be.

Ralph,
Thanks for the reminder. I was in a hurry when I posted yesterday and forgot to resize them.
They are now resized to 1000px on the long edge and load much faster.
It's easy to forget these things when you have fiber-optic internet.![]()
