Greetings from Southeast Illinois! Wanted a small tractor for a couple of decades, decided it was time. Never owned a tractor in my life. Drove several as a younger man though. I purchased a new Kioti NX5510HST in August of this year, after spending the last couple of years researching them. I ordered a new Gannon 80" box blade with hydraulic scarifiers that my dealer should be delivering this week. I have also received my EA 60" Wicked Root Rake Grapple, which is still setting on the shipping skid awaiting a 3rd function kit to be installed here soon. Have a BXpanded Piranha Toothbar on my 72" bucket, my 75 year old father has been having a ball with that thing pushing bush honeysuckle and thorn bushes out of his woods. He doesn't own a tractor anymore, but I think he's mostly claimed mine. He's had 3 times the seat time on it that I have so far! Oh well! I get a kick out of the big smile on his face when he's playing on it anyway!

mapper - Same here... My wife uses the tractor all the time, love our machine; heck she is the reason for at least 3 of our implements (she is always looking for deals online).... Now that I think of it... She is also the reason we purchase a larger bass boat than I was looking at.... I married "UP"... that s all I can say...

Welcome and congrats on the new tractor! I thought you were going to say you got a SCUT when you said "small tractor".... What do you consider big? NX5510 is not a small tractor in my book...

Welcome, we seem to think alike! I took delivery on a NX5010C last week and the 60" Wicked Grapple came this week. We needed the cab for East TX summers and our uses favor shuttle shift.
My Dad passed away nearly 10 years ago, but I don't I would ever catch him on a tractor. Enjoy your time together with Dad.
In many ways, I had more interests in common with my FIL (also passed away). I think that he would have been like a kid in the candy store on our retirement property in the country - tractoring, hunting, fishing, piddling in the shop ...
