CBD/hemp oil, anybody use it?

Yes, if you notice you made a spelling error in less than couple of days; I don't always get back to a thread in time.

I posted the above posting and left the thread, didn't double check my spelling, or lets call it "My Typing errors"... LoL, when Idid notice them I looked for the EDIT Button, no-show... !

I've mentioned it before, but the the EDIT Button goes away after so many days, I knew that but I'm thinking I was away more than the time allotted.

To me... the OP should have access to their posting for editing purposes... how long not sure but as I said, I don't always get back in time and notice errors, and I don't always check my spelling/typing errors.

I think that it is standard operating procedure to tell your Doctor of any Medications you are taking; Doctor or Self Perscribed.
Some people think they will be embarrassed when telling the doctor but I don't think the Doctor cares if you are doing THC or CBDs but they do want to know, to adjust meds accordingly or tell you to eliminate the self prescribed medications because of problems that might arise.

Talk to your Doctors, tell them what you are thinking about and want to know of any interactions... it worked for me. My Doctor told me approximately what I wrote above, he does ask if I am used the products when I come in but other than that he doesn't appear to care.

I had a Doctor back in MA and this was before CBDs, he sometimes suggested a reduced use of a THC Product, 1 to 16 delusion, then it is up to the individual whether to use it or not !

Anyhow... check with your doctors before changing or adding ANY medications.

I had heart problems that no one could diagnose ( bad valve ) 4 doctors kept throwing pill at me to take and I never took one of them. The fifth doctor said after I told him what I致e been subscribed said if had taken those pill he would be putting in a new liver in me.

Years later after having a titanium heart valve put in this new doctor subscribed various heart medicines saying that if I didn't take these pills he would be putting in a new heart in me in a few years.
10 years later after my yearly check up the doctor told me my heart was in great shape and blood pressure was fine. I asked him to repeat what he just said so I understood him correctly.

He repeated that I was in perfect health and my heart was beating strong. I then told him I never took any of the three pills he subscribed to me when he said I would need a new heart if I didn't take them. The look on his face was priceless, he came close to throwing me out of his office and dumping me as a patient for the last 10 years.


Imagine what I saved in money not taking those exspensive pills for 10 years. I guess he was man because he was the one that said I needed the pills and then he was the one that said I was healty and in good shape. No one to blame but himself.

Funny how people all have different ideas of what is right and what is "What you want to think is right" !
To me you were very lucky but I do agree that we all are taking too many pills.

I'm 71, just went to the Cardiologist for the first time in my life; my problem was my feet were swelling.
I took pictures because the swelling went away as fast as it came, and would come back and go... back and forth !
My blood pressure was slightly higher than normal, he gave me what he called the lowest dose he can prescribe and it included a medication for the swelling. My blood pressure is now always less than 130/80, and my feet have not swelled at all since I started seeing the doctor.
Who's right ?

A friend of mine, yes I have friends, started taking cholesterol pills, got tested and his cholesterol was lower, he started taking half the dose on his own and his cholesterol was same as with the full dose.
Again, who's right ?

I have had a few great doctors in my lifetime, all whom I have believed in and believed they wouldn't prescribe pills I didn't need, I'm happy, healthy, and dumb, so no complaints.

A friend had heart valve replacement years ago, was told he had to take meds to thin his blood and something else, stopped taking them when he was changing jobs, had a stroke while driving home, permanent paralysis on left side.. hard road he chose. Glad it worked out for you, but sometimes we need those meds.

So the other day my wife starts having stomach issues again. For two days she's been running to the bathroom every time she eats anything. I was surprised because she was doing so good after she started taking the CBD oil, so I asked her if she knew why it wasn't working for her anymore. She said that she rain out two weeks ago and hasn't had time to go to the store that sells it.

That's pretty good evidence right there Eddie, even more telling if those issues go away again when she's re stocked!
I take it for worn out joints and was questioning it's help with knee & shoulder pain, that is until I ran out also. It wasn't immediate, but I definitely was reminded after a week without it. Sure would be nice to have some dosage study's by (I hate to say it) the govt & fda, although dosage does seem to be highly individual dependent.

Like Rustyiron says, if it works then use it. It did nothing for me, but it sure sounds like your Wife get results from it. It would be interesting to have some good studies of it it though.

She picked up some more CBD Oil last Thursday and took more then she normally does that day, and then again on Friday. She said that she started feeling better after that first dose, and was back to feeling great again the next day. There is a significant difference in how she feels when she is taking it compared to when she ran out.

I'm curious, Eddie, as to what brand of CBD your wife is getting. I've seen mixed results based on the brand. Do you mind sharing?

PS - HAPPY to hear that she's doing so well!! You guys have been through a LOT over the last year or two.

I agree. Most "reviews" I've seen seem to be mostly anecdotal, I wonder how much of this is placebo effect, much like someone who's a teetotaler but keeps a pint of Jack in the cupboard "for medicinal purposes".
