My brother got his oil (it was actually a paste) from a state certified lab, each tube had label that had detailed contents and other identifying information. He was paying $250 for 2 oz 5 years ago. Just a side note, my brother died from the chemo treatment, the oil helped him have some quality of life during his last 6 months.

hawkeye08 sorry about your brother and thanks for mentioning the need to get CBD oil that has been lab certified. Some are just selling hemp oil that may or may not contain any known amount of the CBD fraction. Some will just say hemp seed oil which is not the source of CBD oil. Locally certified CBD oil is going for about $125-$140 per 1 oz bottle. I realize positive results from real CBD oil. Now I only buy face to face in a store that sells CBD oil with the lab report on the box. At $15,000 a gallon the CBD oil market attracts fraud.

My wife had colon cancer last year. She spent a month in the hospital and went through 30 radiation treatments and two 96 hour treatments of chemo. She is cancer free today, but the treatment destroyed her immune system, her white blood cells and her ability to eat what she wants. Over a year later, her gut is still trashed and diarrhea has been a constant on again, off again issue. A month ago she decided to try CBD oil. There is a store here in Tyler that has developed a good reputation from those that have been there as having a good variety of quality products and knowledge about them. With my wife's issues, they discussed the best type that would help her the most. Basically a water soluble liquid that is quickly digested and absorbed into her system My wife is a RN and understands meds better them most people. She bout the one vial and started taking two drops in the morning, and two in the evening. The results where almost instant. She started to feel better that first day and on day three, she was amazed at how her stomach felt. No pain, no discomfort or cramps at all. This is the first time that she has felt this good since Feb 2018 when they found the tumor. She has continued to take the CBD oil twice a day and she has not had diarrhea once since then. She still avoids the bad foods that affected her the most, like corn and onions, but is now able to enjoy most meals again. From what she has learned by talking to other nurses and friends, they have all had positive results when buying the more expensive, higher quality CBD oil. If I was sick, I would seriously consider trying it.

Eddie tell your wife that she is a help to others by example. It is awesome to be able to earn her doctorate and beat cancer at the same time.

I find the lab certified CBD oil to be helpful to my general health and specific joint pain. It is not magical but can seem that way sometimes.

It was 5 years ago when I stopped eating foods with added sugars and or any form of any grain for pain management and it had improved all of my annual lab reports for 5 years now.

Below is just some general info about CBD oil as a starting point in learning more. The web info on CBD oil can range from awful to awesome so readers beware. I find the real CBD oil to be helpful but not so much if is comes from the local gas station, etc but even that source could have the real thing I guess. Look for the lab sticker regardless is what I now do.

Thank you. She is still a bit unsure of what to do with herself now that all the pressure to get it done is over. All the dogs are washed, and she has cleaned the house several times. Her PhD Regalia and Hood arrived last week and it's very nice. Since she is a teacher at the University, she will have to wear it several times a year, so I paid the $1,273 for it as one of her graduation gifts. Publishing her work comes next and then research and hopefully Tenure.

She commented over the weekend how much the CBD oil is helping her. She is really enjoying the benefits of it and having a settled stomach. I see the difference too, because when she ran out, she was having issues again. We don't know if her gut will ever be normal again, or if this is her new normal from the chemo and radiation. It is what it is, and having any relief is a big help.

Glad to hear it, hopefully she continues with less trouble!

In 96’ my wife was hit head on by a drunk and was a 5%r when the finally got her out. Smashed legs, TBI, etc. she was in constant pain day and night. Never wanted to do pain management (ie opiates). Used OTC and alcohol.

About a year ago started with a high quality CBD and it helped immensely.

2 months ago finally signed up for our states medical MJ program and it is life changing improvement for her. Almost no pain among other benefits .

Try it! No gas station crap though and if it works for a chronic condition, look into the MJ side.

THC and CBD terms are just a marketing gimmick to hook you in better.

There was an article on CBD oil in the nursing magazine my wife receives. Apparently nurses were testing positive for THC after treating their aches and pains with CBD oil.

Upon further investigation and testing, oils being advertised as being THC free on the labels actually had it in it.

Just an FYI for those folks that have to pass DOT or other drug tests for employment.
