Moving wet concrete with tractor bucket?

Taxes and up keep is pretty minimal on a piece of land. If it meant mixing 100 sacks of concrete or buying the lot next door i would be hand mixing.

Ha. You sound exactly like me, although the upkeep is starting to catch up. Weekends are starting to not be enough time anymore. I wish retirement would hurry along. I thought a tractor would help, but it's creating more food plots, more tilling, more trees to plant, more upkeep in general and definitely more FUN. Wouldn't change a thing, except I need a better systems to spray weeds. Good luck on the concrete.

I can but my mixer prety much dumps out right on its front wheels and even making it into the wheel barrow can be difficult.

Make a little plywood chute that fits the sona tube.

If you use the loader bucket be sure to wet it before dumping concrete in. I know a lot of people just assume everyone will know to do this but some don't, and some of us have brain burps now and then.

I have a 3pt pto driven 3/4 yard mixer that does a nice job of this type of project. Only word or warning: Concrete mix is VERY heavy. I need the loader on and full of weights, stone or old concrete. Otherwise the front end is pretty light. My 1070 has plenty of lifting capacity. The nice part of this setup is that you can travel to the gravel, cement and water, mix it on the fly and dump it as necessary. I use the loader curl circuit to operate the dump feature. Spring loaded return action.

And it's for sale !

We bought this piece of property in may then found out my wife is pregnant with our first. So yes weekends are not enough. Lol. I got to stream line everything i can. As for retirement...not until 2046.

This would be my choice too. That frees up the FEL for other things while still carrying the mixer. It will also be more stable on uneven terrain.

Moving concrete around on a hill would make me nervous about spillage and tipping. I would do a couple practice runs with water just to get a feel for the slosh factor (I know concrete won't slosh as bad) and the tipping risk.
