New to the diesel tractor world.

Hello everyone! I am new to the tractor world, and this is a first for me, joining any type of form! I just purchased a used chinese tractor, (dong feng engine 35hp 4cyl) not running. Hoping to get some helpful hints along the way. Firstly, injector pump timing.

I do not envy you the task of working on an engine like that. I had my experience many years ago with a Kubota genset after it had say for many years. This is a great forum to find out just about anything related to the tractor world. Please feel free to ask and also to add your thoughts and findings as you are working on your tractor.

First off, have you even tried to start it? If so, what are the symptoms? What color smoke coming from the exhaust, if any? Where are you located?

Is the engine partially disassembled? Why would you be concerned with Injector pump timing? We need more information to start offering opinions about what to do.

Welcome. What year and engine . I have an 2007 DF 354 with the Chang Chai engine. Straight gear no shuttle, 514 hrs. Its been a good solid tractor. I've done lots of mods. Enjoy
