Good morning!!!!

I haven't posted much about it, but this past week was a . . . . well, I'm not sure what I'd call it, but it wasn't good. I've had minor back problems for quite some time, usually worst when I first get up in the morning. Well, this past Tuesday was my first time to ride in an ambulance to the hospital; I couldn't get up. And we had Dish TV people here one day installing their system to replace the Spectrum TV service, then I had a Spectrum technician here changing some things for the computer and telephone. And one day our HVAC folks were here replacing the compressor in the heat and air system.:confused2:

So it was a hectic week, but I think we're doing OK now. I've got an appointment later with what is supposed to be the best back surgeon in the area, although I don't expect to have surgery. We'll see.

But one thing I do want is a really comfortable recliner chair. I know I should have asked before going ahead, but yesterday I ordered this chair:

They advertise in both the AARP Bulletin and the AARP Magazine. Expensive, but supposedly does just about everything except cook your meals and give you a bath. Do any of you have any experience with one of them?

Bird- I am sorry to read about your back, but happy that it is now in some degree of resolution. I hope your back continues to mend on its own. I wish you luck with the surgeon and that easy chair. I will be looking forward to your review.

Good day for outside puttering...Back pack blower started it's long winter nap,quick trip to town for extra critter food,pickup snow plow already for action,other odds and ends done, time for little football and nascar and Mrs. making country dinner. :licking:

My Dad had one. They are real comfortable and a great chair for drinking his booze in.
