I looked for 2 things at Lowe’s today, and had to order from amazon instead cause Lowe’s didn’t have them. But I did get some blocks, wasn’t about ready to take them thru self checkout.

This thread is getting humorous and interesting. Don’t take comments here too serious. Remember you can’t fully respect where opposing views are coming from and it isn’t binary (was gonna say ‘black and white’ but then the PC police would chime in.

Maybe I should get paid for my time waiting in line?

I’m sure that most of us if we actually analyzed our habits we would fine that we are hypocritical in our behavior. We are quick to say we don’t like or subscribe to some particular new thing but fully embrace this same concept in another venue.

I’m a big fan of the self checkouts. It’s foolish to do anything else from a labor standpoint. Anyone in disagreement show your support by selling your tractor and hiring a dozen guys with shovels. When you get done with that just think how many more jobs there would be if we used wagons instead of semi trucks. The self checkout is nothing more than a labor saving device which we already have thousands of. Tractors and semi trucks are only 2 of which.

The help wanted signs on the doors of our Home Depot are faded they have been there so long. The "saving a job" line doesn't compute here.

On the news here this morning.....Lowes to close a bunch of under performing stores here in Canada.....just sayin'
