Having a blast with our new M62

I think there should be a TBN rule that every M59/M62 owner is REQUIRED to attach a picture to every post so we can drool over it.

NO!, NO!, NO!
I DO NOT want to see MORE M62 pictures!
It is just too painful to look at them!
I have enough aches and pains already!

I only have the 24" bucket. I was gonna get a 12", but the pivot point for the thumb is wider than 12". So digging deeper than the bucket i would gouge that area in the ground. They do make a 16" and a 18". I havent decided yet which to get as the 24" works great.

Some people say 24" for a 3/4 inch pipe seems like a waste. I said when you can get in the hole move it around, glue fitting, change something you will get spoiled versus laying on your belly assuming you stuck it all together correctly.
.

WIKI.... Thats great.

I have had people contact me on here, Facebook, my website, find my phone number, etc and ask me many, many questions about the M62 and some have purchased on the information I have given. Of course Kubota will probably never know. O well. I got a AWESOME machine.

You are only digging trench with a 12 bucket (at least I am) so it doesnt get enough wear to matter. I dig in super rocky ground in the mountains down to 3 feet without any wear after a few hundred feet of trench.

I spent enough time patching up my last piece of crap titan grapple to know that wasn稚 going to happen again. I didn稚 care how much it cost I was buying a good one. My Favor has 1 ar400 tines and the lids are on greased pivots and gusseted for reinforcement. It still weighs less than 700 pounds. I haven稚 used it a lot yet but I don稚 see any weak points from my last grapple tearing up experience and I think it値l hold up.

I have the Skid Steer Kubota version root rake...it is 920 lbs. Total beast thus far.

I want a auger for the backhoe !!!!

I made a QD mount for my auger last year using some weld-on QD bucket brackets from ebay. Having the auger on the backhoe saves so much time putting in posts and you have much better visibility. I just plumbed it into the thumb hydraulics and it works great. You do want to be sure to have some weight in the loader though or it will get really light in the front.

HAHAHA. Im tickled.

My opinion is that it can run anything that is low flow on the 3rd function, remotes, and the hydraulic thumb remotes. Of course the implement would have to function at the 16gpm mark or less.

Good seeing new members on here. Im on here more in the winter when it is to cold out or in the summer when it is to hot out.

My wife has a 2004 Dodge 2wd 3/4ton. I bought as a back up vehicle. She loves it.

Thank you for the great information...

Picked up the 24" and the 12" and a nice ripper for calichi (Arizona is full of the stuff)... (the ripper photo is from their web site, the one I ordered is a QD).
