Sometimes i really have to wonder why i even waste my time coming into forums to share with others what i`ve done. Good grief. All people want to do is hold other peoples feet to the fire if your not "politically correct".

Oh my gosh, here`s a thread about a Kubota DOZER blade... sheez who knew?!?!?! Wonder how many more i can pull up. https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/193854-kubota-dozer-blade.html

Later folks, i think i`ll just bow out. I`ve got better things to do with my time rather than to sit here and read about others pissing & moaning about how somebody says or does something.

if it works good as a snow blade, good enough for what you want it for. don't try to use it as a dozer blade, though, it's not made for that..

PaPow, that is a nice setup regardless of terminology. ( I was tempted to say "irregardless of" to see if the grammar cops showed up:))

Some people need a place to make them feel bigger or more intelligent than they really are. Reminds me of an old guy I knew when I was a youngster. He was a member of our volunteer fire company and served as what we called a fire policemen. His purpose in life was to keep traffic away from the fire scene so the equipment responding to the scene wouldn't be hampered. He kinda expanded his role and had a severe attitude problem.

One time I mentioned this to my Grandad. He said, "You need to understand. Carl works at a factory, and all day long his boss hollers at him. He come home and his wife hollers at him. When that fire siren goes, he's the king".

Well, for those that wondered... here is how the JD 54" blade turned out on my BX23s. We got a foot of snow last night, plowed with it today, worked flawlessly. Not one single issue.
Checked everything all over after plowing, everything held up very well. No bolts loosened up, all the welds held perfect on the additional plate i put in for bracing and to attach it to the kubota.

Thanks ruff. We got a foot of snow last night, i wasnt sure how it would do, but oh man, this little BX tractor is a monster...lol. I thru my carry-all on the 3pt hitch, added some concrete blocks, and away we went.
Not once did it spin a wheel the whole time i was plowing. I have a set of chains for it, but i wanted to see how it would do without the chains... turns out i didnt even need them at all. Rear tires are loaded.
This little BX tractor never bogged down once. It didnt care how much snow it was pushing. The snow was very wet too. I even got my wife out there plowing with it today...lol. (she loved it!)
