I'm still looking for the 'dozer' blade in this thread.
Ohhhh... sorry bout that, you youngsters aren`t familiar with the older terms of what things used to be called :duh:

I've been using this 8' plow setup for 20 years or more. Added a rubber scraper this year because of the 800' of new concrete in the driveway.
In high gear, the tractor isn't even warmed up by the time I'm done. 2 passes and lights out.View attachment 627599View attachment 627600
Nice Job, But it has to be painted Kubota Orange!
Looks like it worked out very well. I enjoy seeing projects that adapt and use things that some people wouldn't think of.
One question though. Will the BX need to take anti-rejection drugs?![]()
THIS is a dozer blade.
What you have is a snow plow blade.
It is splitting hairs a bit, but despite looking similar a dozer blade & snow plow are reasonably different. A true dozer blade is WAY stronger. A snow plow is up to pushing dirt, especially not anything packed. Dozer blades are also mounted further back on the machine so they don't bounce & cause washboard. Some tractor mounts connect the plow subframe further back but truck, riding mower & a lot of tractor mounts dont.Thanks... i think everybody gets it. Excuse me for not being 100% politically correct to your standards.

We get it we get it we get it. Nobody cares... Give it a rest.
