Yes, it's a grand feeling to see Red safe :)

If the claim is denied or doesn't cover deductible, Red's gonna push/pull that carport apart :D

Good deal Judy .

. . . and Judy if it hasn't fallen yet you could temporarily shore it up and in the spring put more post in/up, that looked like a pretty long span.

I am thinking the insurance adjuster will give you x amount of money and leave everything up to you as to what you want done.

tradosaurus - THAT is so funny

Whatever happened to that guy? or girl? or it?

OMG...I drove to town today and the 2-mile mud road nearly stopped me! It is the worst I've ever seen in the 10 years living here. Dumbo neighbors got stuck twice trying to haul water with a trailer in knee deep slimey mud. The other neighbor stuck their Suburban. And the other old guy stuck his brand new(!) suv-thingy. Such a mess they made and the ruts are soooo deep

My truck ain't so purdy right now :(

Question about the rear tractor tire being deflated...it has the calcium ? ballast in it from Idaho and I think that's why it didn't go completely flat. Does it need to go to a shop to find the leak and be repaired? Pretty sure holding up the carport caused this cuz it was fine the day before when I drove it. I don't want to drive with it low and ruin the tire.

Most likely, the tires did not get lower but some of the snow melted off the roof so it sprung back up a little bit.
With loaded tires if you have a leak they will be obvious because the liquid will be leaking out.

Drive the tractor slowly to rotate the rear tire's valve stem until it is all the way up at the 12 o'clock position.

Then fill the tire with air to the point where it matches the other, or has the amount of air pressure in it that you want.

Check it in a week to see if it's deflated any again.

May just be the cold weather change in the tire.

Another TBN member near you reported 22” of snow, and how his roads are all mud also.
