Hi Jezreel,

Are/were you or your wife in the military? You can get $300 off the Kubota MX with membership in the Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC). It should take less that a day to get your FVC member number (sometimes email marks it as spam).

The loan situation does not sound out of the ordinary to me if they built the house and the construction loan is in their name. Just went through the same thing less than two years ago. Paper work is rediculose any more. We also broke out a couple of acres so the rest could be in wildlife.

Good luck getting it wrapped up.

graziaka. . . Nope, no Veteran's status for us. I just retired from 28 years in Federal Law Enforcement.

As far as the house goes. . . Yeah, banker said the closing is no problem, just like AllByteNoBark mentioned, the blasted paperwork is crazy! ! !

Things going smoothly. Just gotta keep the pigs away! ! !

I'd kill all those pigs I could. They will destroy things unless made to disappear. It is hard to believe how destructive they can be.

Yup.
I sure do.
The survey needs to be completed!

I certainly didn't mean to have my decision to move into my new home before closing on the loan turned into a survey. So, I hope there is nothing to be "completed!" I was just making conversation about the desire to get the closing done, so I can take advantage of the 0% from Kubota, and if anyone knew what Kubota usually does after a certain promotion. And I was curious if anyone uses and likes the 3pt hitch quick attachment.

I reckon on my next posting, I won't provide as many personal details.

I got a QA with my L3560 and was not all that convinced I really needed it. After using it I really like it. It is a time saver and I often switch implements when I would not if I did not have it.

One of these days I need to modify my carryall so it will work with it.

I would recommend getting one.

The survey and title search should have been done before construction ever started. It's not uncommon for those to turn up easements, encroachments, deed restrictions, resource rights or other issues that would prevent construction in a certain spot.

Some kind of quick hitch is nice. The hardest part of not having one is getting the implement into the holes on the 3 point. Pat’s a Easy Change is another alternative. The lower arms are quick connect but not the top link. The advantage of Pats is the width of the implement can vary from the standard 3 point width.

I hate not talking face to face. My mistake reading the post. Yes, we had a survey and assessment done when buying the 20 acres. Then the bank let us use the original survey for the construction loan. Now we need a new survey and assessment for closing on the home mortgage. The survey that shows one acre with the house, septic, well house and road has been completed, and now we are waiting on the assessment. Hopefully get that done this week.

Sorry for my misunderstanding.
