I must admit the manual for the RK 55 has much to be desired.

So the first picture is what was shown on my dash and the second picture is from the manual. I tried to conduct a manual regen - no luck. I let the tractor run for 45 minutes at 2000 rpm. It would go any higher. No other lights. No other regen symbols. I could initiate a regen. The symbol is still on.

Could it be that the engine system needs to be checked and it isn't a regen issue?

Well that’s what I’m thinking. But it’s listed under regen and says “or”.

So do I regen or do I call for service. Not very specific.

If you followed the instructions for a manual regen that are on the page before the one you posted, and it did go though a regen process but that indicator is still showing, then I would contact the dealer for support. They should be able to give you an answer, or might need to get it in for a service check.

Yeah it wouldn’t actually do the regen. The throttle would go past 2000 rpm either.

What part of that didn't work? When you applied parking brake and pressed and held the regen button for 3 seconds while the engine was running at idle, did the dash change and did the engine speed increase? If not then the warning indicator is likely due to something else, which is also locking out the regen process. I guess you're already figuring that too.

I can press the parking brake (engaged)
Hold regen button for three seconds. Does not light.
No regen occurs.
Throttle won’t go below 1000 rpm or above 2000.

I texted the rep at the store and less than 10 minutes later the mobile repair guy called me. Had me check a couple of things - none fixed the issue. He’s coming out tomorrow at 7:30am.

At least the service is really good up to this point.

That's great service indeed! Hopefully they'll get it resolved quickly so you can get it back in action. Maybe you can point out the bucket issue to get their opinion on that while they are there.

Copied from my other post but addresses the issue.

I called the store rep yesterday and a few minutes later the mobile service guy called me (not sure of the official title). He came this morning at 7am and hooked the tractor up to his laptop. Said it was a manifold pressure sensor. He trailered it back to Williston to fix that and to take a look at the loader. Very courteous and professional young man. Extremely polite.

I will say this. They are trying. This is a fairly new endeavor for them and I expect some growing pains. What they haven’t done is drop the ball or disappoint me, yet. Tracey, the store rep, has been exceptionally responsive. Not once has she pushed me aside, given me excuses or failed to follow up with me. That isn’t something you see nowadays. They are trying to get the loader issue fixed. As long as the tractor is operational and under warranty, I will give them as long as they need.

So given that this title was addressing the fact that Brian disappeared just like the other guy, at least the folks at the store and service center level aren’t giving us fluff. At least not here in Gainesville.

Here’s keeping my fingers crosse

Got the tractor back today. Apparently a Florida rodent variety ate a wire leading to the sensor. The great news is that the bucket/FEL has been leveled. Shawn, took the time when he dropped the tractor back off to me to explain the process with the loader, how he leveled it and how it’s possible that they aren’t completely level. Whatever the cause, it is less than an 1/8” of gap, where before it was over 1 3/4” of gap on one side.

This began as a boggling issue and ended up being quite pleasant and refreshing.

Gunny - do you mind passing on the leveling info?

So from what Shawn told me (granted this was done in the Williston facility) he unbolted the FEL after placing it on blocks and then once it was leveled he had himself and another person tighten the bolts down. Apparently what happens is that one person usually installs the loader. And you have to go side to side to tighten the bolts. If it is uneven at all, the person tightening the bolts probably won’t notice. I was told that if it’s off a 1/8” at the bolt hole it could be off more at the loader itself.

I don’t know how much of this makes sense or if it’s accurate. I will say that mine is more level now than before he took it. It has barely an 1/8” of gap.

So who know, this is what I was told. But as for what was actually done, I wasn’t there.

That story does kinda make sense.
