Wow Wally World backhoe

Blue book value is $4,000-$6000.
The way I see it is, that makes the street/sale value of the car $4,000-$6,000. and the woman who slammed into the side of my car (her insurance) should pay.
We shall see what happens.
I AM prepared for disappointment.

Now begins the search for an under 70K mi. white 2014-2016 E-350 Mercedes.

Depends are you a no fault state? If so you arent getting anything. No collision on your policy means your insurance company is off the hook, which also means they dont have a lot of motivation to fight the other company, nor do you as value of car would likely be less than the cost to fight it.

"........value of car would likely be less than the cost to fight it".

I don't quite see it that way.
I am retired.
Have nothing but free time.
Was the legal officer in my Navy squadron years ago.

I say.....bring it on!
I have excellent pictures.
Win or loose, I'll have some fun with it, and only additional cost will be court filing fee.

Well true, but first you have to figure out if your a no fault state, if you are, your case wont even be heard or thrown out right away. If not then hey whats 25 bucks in a small claims court doing it yourself. Most small claims are something like 5k limit.

Got to weigh the cost, but collision on my 2018 F150 is 20 bucks a month for just the collision portion, for $250 bucks a worth its worth the investment, on something older it should be less, for a few hundred a year might be worth insuring something of value.

I don't think "no fault" has squat to do with my case.
Other party has admitted guilt.
Appraiser is supposed to show up tomorrow.
Payment likely won't be much, but maybe ..... beer money?
I can't drink much beer anymore anyway .....gout!

Based on the one review of the backhoe, do you want to own it?

Good point. I would rather have more reviews...I think the buyer needs to look at just what they will use it for and how much 'heavy' work it would do to know if it would stand up. Here in my ground you have more rocks ,bolders, ledge than dirt. So probably not a good choice for me.
