Nope not a submariner, just a Texan that only has need for a fireplace about 20 days a year.

Being serious, many of us learned about the Instant Pot from Don. We bought ours about 5 years ago.

The InstantFireplacePot coming soon? Was going to try a couple chicken breasts today but ended up eating out.
Instant Pot: Meal # 2 Ham and Split Pea Soup. Absolutely perfect in taste and texture. We often use dehydrated veggies due to lousy choices from the grocery store that are tasteless and very expensive. Using the slow cooker (crock pot) besides taking 5-10 hours, we could always still tell the veggies were dehydrated.
With the Instant Pot, we could not tell the dehydrated from fresh. The perfect soup in 15 minutes! Also, this revived my love of split pea soup after giving it up years ago because restaurants ruined it for me by serving old, soured soup.
