Havent ask. But might when handle comes in and he picks up saw.

@goeduck he said he got it stuck on a drop. So he grabbed another saw and tried to finish the drop. Thats when it all went bad for him and the saw.

He brought old chain for me to check to see if I could save it. Drive links were bent bad too. So nope.

All fixed. New handle, new stihl full chisel picco chain, used bar.

One of the good ones I redid 65cc with updated tank and air filter set up. With updated coil spring AV too.

Already sold and heading to the great white north in Jan.

Me likey when a new customer = homeowner firewood cutter shows up with this. 2014 husky 390. He said he runs 24" most time and has a 32" too.

I threw my 24" bar and chain on it for test and tune session.

Smart. I have a saw that I use 25 inch and (rarely) a 32 inch bar. I had it tuned on the 25 inch.

Came in hard to start. If does start wont stay running. :thumbdown:

Less then a hour trouble shooting ready to go back.

Love when their easy fixes. :thumbsup:

Also notice stihl is putting china made bosch plug in some saws. No wasnt the plugs fault either. Plug still good.

Another stihl come in hard to start. Also came from factory with china made bosch in it. Bought in 2008 - after.

Issue was just bad ethanol mix jelled particles. Put my e-free mix and checked everything and back out.

Put my china g66 I been testing side by side. Couldnt tell any differences in the cut. One of the nice 660 I have seen in a long time, if grime was cleaned off. But it is a tool to be used.

Yep, I like Sthil as well.
Have a nice little 009 that never lets me down, light and powerful for its size.
Last summer a tree surgeon offered to trade me even for a larger new Husky but I refused. (I also have a turbo Husky that runs just great for felling)

Lucked into a couple used 54mm cylinders and 2 NOS piston and a used one.

Time to build another 83cc. Was building 3rd 71cc in that series that is even rarer, but might switch that. PP445 PP505

Anytime I see a 660 around here its a nice saw. Just dont see too many of them around here. A little on the big and heavy side for the average firewood cutter in these parts. Buddy of mine has one. Good runner, but I dont like lugging around the weight.
