Tractor
branson 4720h 6ft brush hog ,post hole digger, ripper, pallet forks,
I called and paid for filters /10 gals of hide fluid told them the tractor i have 4720h 2014 or 2015 maybe 2016 year but i doubt it.

picked it up today they gave me oil filter and 80w-90w gear oil . i gave it back and told them i need hyd fluid. im pretty sure they gave me the right hyd fluid now. i have 4 2.5 gals jugs .

i gave back the filter and asked for the hyd filters i kept saying there are two they kept saying there's only one .

Well i have one filter i would really like to check to see if it the right ones its white my old ones are blue ? also there is two on my tractor .

What other filter can i use or where can i buy them from online ?

I drained the two drain plugs and pull the filter that is laying down in middle of tractor.

Sorry for this mess of a thread im just so overwhelm with how hard it was to get what i needed.

I did an eBay search for Branson 4720h hydraulic filters and got this:
BRANSON TRACTOR FILTERS MODEL 472H W/A23N2 Engine | eBay

That looks like an air filter. Yes there are 2 hydraulic filters on my 3520H. One is a light blue and the other one is a slightly darker blue. They are both in the same area. I would call Dave's Tractor in Red Bluff, CA. It's pretty far Northern California so shouldn't be too far from your place in Oregon:

Word of caution, get genuine Branson hydraulic filters. Aftermarket ones are known to give problems and actually burning hydraulic pumps. Since Branson uses a suction filter, some of these aftermarket filters will cause the pump to starve for oil.

Hmmmm. I would suspect most pumps use suction filtration to keep crud from wearing out the pump! My 6530 and 2400 schematics in the owner's manuals show the filter between the sump and the pumps.

Microns and GPM are posted on filter sites. Microns have to do with the type of application, like 20 micron is pretty popular for full flow filters, and the kicker is the GPM. Your tractor's total GPM is posted numerous places, and the filter rating can be found. I use Wix charts when I want to know a filter's ratings and dimensions.

Not saying to by pass OEM purchasing. Just saying when you can't get one and know the specs there ARE alternatives.

It's just a word of caution. I've seen several times on forums and Facebook groups people complaining about the hydraulics acting weird and they found out it was indeed the hydraulic filter. Some mechanics even said they had to change hydraulic pumps due to this problem.

ok for your tractor the 4720H you do indeed have two hydraulic filters, one main hydraulic transmission filter and one hydrostatic motor filter( both are for the hydraulic transmission), to find out the exact filter you need all i would need to know is if your tractor has Diesel exhaust filtration( If it does you will see a very large metal cylinder directly on top of the engine, if you don't see this and only a muffler then your tractor is a pre 2014 model, if you do see this its after 2014.) there are two options for your hydraulic filters
the first being this: NTB8030000B3 - main filter, TA00000859A hst motor filter they look like this, 20191218_090309.jpg
if it is the other set : TA00025525B - Main filter, TA00043153A - Hst motor filter they look like this,20191218_090406.jpg

There are part numbers on the actual filters so it should be fairly easy to find out which set is on your tractor.
as for getting the filters and oils you need there are many of us dealer that ship parts across the country ( mine included) and would be more than happy to ship what you need to you.
and the oil are as follow( these are what we use here for servicing our customers Tractors,
Engine oil ( 10w-40 for colder climates, and 15w-40 for Higher temp climates)
Hydraulic Transmission fluid - Universal Tractor Hydraulic Fluid( do NOT use any 303 branded oils, these are only rated for equipment up to the early 90's)
Front axle gear oil - ( 80w-90 for colder climates, & 85w-140 for warmer climates)

Hope this helps.

as they said above be very careful with aftermarket Hydraulic Transmission Filters as the Branson Filter are made specifically for their transmission and have a flow back valve inside the filter and if you put one on that doesnt have this inside of it you can burn up one or both of the hydraulic pumps or possibly cause damage elsewhere inside the Hydraulic system
