This forum is more user friendly than the lawn mower form suggested. I have other interests and belong to other forums that have a very nice lay out. Looks like the choices here may be limited though.

Eventually. We're still tweaking the platform. Prior to changing we are going to make a fully functioning clone of the site for people to log into, test out, and give feedback.

Look at this guy! Man, other boards I been on over the years, they're like, change is coming and you gonna like it or else, punk! Then they punch you in the nose.

Muhammad do yo thing man, personally I just appreciate having this kind of site to go to in whatever form.

I like this forum the way it is, however.
The lawn mower one didn't look bad, I didn't dig down into it though.
As far as the like or thumbs up or down I don't care one way or the other,
some of the other forums that I'm on have them and I don't notice them being abused but maybe they do.

Never had Facebook and never plan on having Facebook. TBN is my social media. Not sure I would use a "Like" button but I might if I agree with a post or I find a post very informative or interesting. Don't know.

Yeah that's why I'm considering how to implement it, if at all. We've never had a points system on the site but it may be possible to use the reactions for a good cause.

Guess I was the help letting the cat-out-of-the-bag. :dance1:

I do hear you about the cement bunker around the forum as it's attached globally to all.

Another possibility is to not number the "likes". All you can see is that someone liked what you wrote. You'd have no idea how many liked it.

This POLL has 126 replies and only 50 votes.

Or list the likes/thanks to a post (like Steel Soldiers does, under each post is a list of who "thanked [POSTER] for their useful post"), but don't list how many times they have been thanked in total on their profile.
That way useful posts can be highlighted without turning the forum into a "like war" to see who can accumulate the most likes.
