Well I know this does not qualify with the title of the thread but my new fast cooker was put into its maiden voyage, slow cooker style. Turkey bone broth. I got all the bones in it from yesterdays 19 lb turkey with the exception of part of the Breast bone. Peppercorns, apple cider vinegar, bay leaf, carrots, celery and garlic snuck in there as well.

I just started starting to read up on the Breville I bought. It talks about searing meat in it on foods that taste best seared before cooking. Does anyone do that? I would think I would still want to sear in my cast iron, followed by diced onion to abosrb the flavor, then into the instapot.
Is that a Breville? Have they updated the Teflon coating to a stainless steel inner pot?
I've also made goulash & chili which I used to make in a crock pot and both came out much better, especially the goulash. I guess quality pays.Well I know this does not qualify with the title of the thread but my new fast cooker was put into its maiden voyage, slow cooker style. Turkey bone broth.
