What do you do with your Instant Pot you cant do with a crock pot?

One thing I do miss about a slow cooker is the oval shape, or at least rectangular. I tossed my old slow cooker when we got the Breville but now I kind of miss the longer dimension to fit foods. Also, both of these do Sous Vide and would be great for larger groups prepping steaks, etc. Both have stainless pots as well. Interesting that the 6 quart model of the Instant Pot does not have a stainless pot. I would think that is a selling point.

By "stainless" do you mean ceramic or stainless steel? The 6 Qt. Instant Pot does have stainless steel - I have 2. I never have a problem with anything sticking.

I was referring to the Aura slow cooker model. From the Instant Pot website:

The Aura has a 6 Quart capacity oval design, ceramic coated non-stick aluminum removable cooking pot

Their 8 quart slow cooker does have a stainless pot.

Ceramic is good. At $240 I hope the warranty is good. I did have to use the warranty on instant pot when the count down numbers started flashing. They promptly sent out a new IP and I sent the old one back they paid the shipping.

I had to use Breville's warranty on a blender and they were outstanding in the response!

We have the Breville FastSlow cooker and it has performed well for about 2 years now. I would recommend it. Ours came from Williams Sonoma - on sale and had a gift certificate - so had less than $ 100 in it. Judging by the link below, the price has went up about $ 75.00 since we purchased.
