Brady can still hold his own in the NFL, ..pretty amazing given his age. Unfortunately this year they had no running game, no deep threat, and no Gronk. ... those are giant holes that they were unable to fill. And football is a sport where you simply can't do it all yourself.

^This. The whole truth and nothing but the truth.

And without a new way to cheat...they are no different that a lot of other teams....

I don't like the New England patriots.

They (Patriots) don't cheat IMO, people just look for an excuse because they don't like them IMO.

New England hasn't done anything else that no one else hasn't tried. It's not like they got a "think tank" on how to cheat.

When you think of what BB has done as the head coach, it's pretty remarkable for what he has had to work with.

People don't like them because they cheat...they only get the tag if they've been caught...(the smart teams have not been caught)

It's like a bad call determining the outcome (AKA the Saints). Yes, these are pros, but either you're better than the other team or if it's close enough that you have to claim cheating by the other team to win, apparently you weren't the better team IMO.

As noted, I HATE the New England Patriots.

Thing is, I'm amazed at how many people let a sports organization "control" their way of thinking or how your day goes with a win or a loss by guys making millions of dollars who really don't give a crap about you.

I still can't figure out why people "bleed or die" for a college sports team that they (the fans) got a degree from.

I'm a die hard eagles fan (pro) because as a child, when my father was overseas, I watched the Eagles in Pa with my family and I will ALWAYS route for them. Be it they win or lose, at the end of the day, it's only game that doesn't contol ME.

Thing is, watching college football, could never figure out die hard fans who never went to the college they are routing for. Does your life suck that much that what other people do determine your happiness or sadness?

That said, I've become a Louisville cardnial fan because of the new coach from Boone. College fans can be worse than pro fans IMO. I cheer for my alma mater in college football because thats were I went to school. Nothing more. I'm just amazed at the Alabama or Clemson fans who never went to school there.

And that money comes directly from the consumer...it's the fans that buy the tickets and merchandise that pays all those ridiculous contract monies...if the fans united and refused to pay so much for tickets and quit buying the sponsor products...the cost of attending a game etc. would go down significantly...

BTW...Fan is short for fanatic...!

I won't disagree.

I've been to about 4 Eagles games at Veterans stadium in my life. My college alma mater I made every game because I had a student ticket.

Other than that, I have an eagles sweat**** that was bought for me some christmas's ago and when back up north, perhaps $100 in college alma mater wearables for my boys.

My point is other than watching TV, which I'm not certain how to calculate what a sports team actually would make per money by watching them on TV, in the long haul, professional sports teams (including my alma mater) isn't making any money off of me.

To me, the NCAA is as corrupt as the NFL LOL

I boxed in collegiate sports because I loved to do it, not because I thought I could make money, and the college sure didn't make money off of me. Just look at basketball and football collegiate sports. BIG business.

Like Dave Ramsey says NFL means not for long, wonder how long before Brady files for bankruptcy.

I wouldn't hold your breath.
