They just like to watch men like me faint!

There are good ones and bad ones for taking blood. Often the bad ones will blame you, like the a-hole that blamed me for having fine veins! He kind of sounded like he might be the brother of the "Microsoft" guy that called me at break of dawn today.

They can tell from an amount of blood you can't see with the naked eye a whole bunch of information, but seem to need gallons from me for whatever they are testing for. They probably use a drop and sell the rest!

If I want big screen size I pull it up on the tv screen. In general tablets are bulky to hold. I would rather use a screen I can set down like a pc or laptop, or my smartphone which is ok size to hold.

I need glasses to see on any of them.

My employer gives me an iPad to use 24/7. It has a nice case that has a rechargeable bluetooth keyboard and an adjustable backstand. I've been using it for about 2.5 years. Pretty much 95% of my TBN surfing is on this device. It can sit easily on a tabletop, in my lap, on my outstretched legs on a footstool, on my crossed legs sitting in a comfy recliner, etc... very versatile. The case is magnetic, so the iPad can snap out of it instantly if desired. The battery on the keyboard is crazy long-life. I charge the iPad nightly, but they keyboard only once a week. Heck, when I was off work for 2 months with a broken bone last summer, I charged it once in 2 months! I can't remember the name of the manufacturer. I'll try and find it.

I don't expect to be using any sperm I have left, but I do think about a wireless device resting near my groin. I will also try and position it more at arms length when sleeping , than any closer.

I just changed the batteries in my Radio Shack DX-440 that is as good as any SSB portable SW receiver made today.

I have one of those too, and it is a pretty good radio, made by Sangean if I'm not mistaken. Biggest problem I've had with it is that the contacts (?) in the tuning knob get dirty after a while, and the radio goes spastic when you try to tune. If you're careful you can pop the knob off the side, spray some contact cleaner in there and be back in business.

I also have my entire music collection on a micro SD card in the phone. It makes that hour and a half drive to get to the doctor a lot more tolerable. There's nothing but crap on the radio any more.

Nah, you're just getting old. Your parents/grandparents probably said the same thing about your music when you were young.

I'm an old person born in the 40s... But became fascinated by personal computers in the 1970s and bought an Apple II for $2,000 in 1979... Drawing my wife's ire but exciting the folks at Household Finance. It was so unusual at the time for an individual to by a PC that they put a story about my purchase in the local daily newspaper. Later I got into the Internet because most of my co-workers were scared of it. Never made the jump to full time webmaster or anything, but probably should have. I'd have a lot more money now I imagine. I have and use a smart phone, tablet, laptop and PC... Along with a big smart TV for streaming and such. As fantastic as they are in what you can do, I can also see how they are distorting our culture, isolating people, building "tribes" along political and identity lines, and building motor skills while weakening imaginations and logic. History teaches that every generation has faced some great challenge. Learning to use computers and the internet constructively is an enormous issue now for several different generations - including mine.

I still use some old DOS programs. Do all my bookkeeping on it and all my financial records. Simple and it works. Old Ansonia mantel clock that has been in family over 100 years. Keep a old soldering iron. Old wind up Timex watch in my tool box in case we have a global outage of internet. First tool I ever personally owned, a pair of old rusted (almost beyond use) pliers I found when I was 4 years old. A old hand saw tooth setting tool I got when my Dad passed away. (some one took it some time ago) Rattle snake rattlers I took off a snake I shot when about 12.

Some, maybe a lot, but not all. They really don’t upgrade old exchanges until absolutely necessary.
