Tractor
Branson 5220C with BH250 Backhoe and a bunch of attachments
After a year of researching tractors and 6 months figuring out which Branson we wanted, we decided to pull the trigger and get one!
Here's what we got from the Dealership:

Branson 5220C with the BL200 loader
BH250 Backhoe
66" Root Grapple
3rd Function installed
6 foot Bushhog
6 foot Tiller
HD Pallet Forks
6 Foot Box Blade
Post Hole Digger with 9" and 12" augers
CAT 1 Quick Hitch.

I know its a lot, but we got 36 acres of mixed pasture, lake, and woods. I own a Sawmill, so it will be doing work with logs to the Sawmill and everywhere else.
Immediate use will be fixing roads around the property, putting up fencing, fixing drainage and clearing out a creek bed to start along with planting 8 apple trees, blackberry bushes and some elderberry.
Then we get into all the other projects lined up the next 5 years

Eventually we'll be building more outbuildings where this Hoss will help with site work.

Excited to finally get some heavy equipment to help on the farm.

It will be delivered the 25th of January.....waiting on purpose (need to get the pole barn cleared out, and my father wants to be here for delivery). It works out great, because my birthday is the 27th.

Let the plans begin!!!!!

Congratulations! I almost went with the 5220C but 15 series was more realistic for what I do. Very nice machine and I hope you get many years of trouble free service! Post pictures when you can.

Edit: And Happy Birthday!

Absolutely,
Our biggest decision was to go with the Hydrostatic or Shuttle Shift. I drove both and liked the shuttle shift. Plus I didn't like the whine of the Hydro at even the slow speed. Win/win because it cost less and we could get more attachments

Congratulations Chris.

Look forward to seeing all the projects come to life.

I do not own a Branson, but if I were looking, Branson would be the first.
Branson owners do love their Bransons!

Thank you! We'll certainly have enough attachments to get started

Sounds like a great package to me Chris.

I'd say "Well Done".

I too look forward to all the project pictures as you move along.

I'm curious which grapple you went with, and who's 3rd function kit you used? Also would like your review input once you've used them for a while.

Thanks, and congrats on the tractor.

Thanks,
We went with the Titan single cylinder Root Grapple. The 3rd function is dealer installed, and not sure of the kit, but I'll certainly find out.
Hoping to get a lot of use out of the Grapple soon and will certainly pass along my thoughts.

Hey Chrisryan, did you do the factory 3rd function Diverter or did you actually do an electronic 3rd function like a wr long. I have only used the wr long which is not a Diverter, but it's nice you can order the brason with the kit already installed? Just dont know what to go with.
