I've narrowed my options down to these 2 tractors. Both would include 3rd function installed, a 72" rear blade, & loaded rear tires. All other options between the 2 are the same.

I'll mostly be using the tractor for fire wooding, clearing brush, maintaining a 500' driveway, and snow clearing with the rear blade.

Both are very close in price. The RK came out to $25,198 and the Kioti was quoted at $27989 with 0% financing. Since I'd have to finance either one the RK's total price comes really close to the $28000 when you factor in interest.

The Kioti dealer is throwing in the filters for the 50 hour and the 100 hour services. Plus offers free delivery.

I'm definitely leaning towards the Kioti considering the extras the dealers willing to throw in but I still really like the RK tractors.

What would be your choice between these two options and does the quote sound pretty fair on the Kioti?

I'd feel better about Kioti being around in 20 years than I would Rural King.

Which one are you more comfortable on?
Which one has a controll layout that feels the best to you for extended use?
Does one feel like it responds to your input better than the other?
Which has the better warrantee?

How do the specs compare?
Which would be if any harder to repair when it gets old and the warrantee runs out?
Which has a more complex design to working parts?

Free bees with filters and hats are nice but 6 or 7 years down the road an expensive repair will make you forget oabout them in a heartbeat if the other one wast as complex of a design and could have been fixed for half the cost.
A tractor that requires you to compromise on comfort will also make filters and hats seem insignificant.

If they fit me the same and was comfortable on both, I would get the KIOTI. I do think the RK tractors are nice, priced competitively, and I even looked into the possibility of driving a great distance to get one (the distance and cost made it out of consideration). The KIOTI has a better reputation and has been around longer, parts availability is better (I think). Overall, I really like the KIOTI.

I've had JD, Kubota & Kioti - By far I enjoy the Kioti, it is a great machine, I've had no issues, all the power / performance I need, I have the rear finish mower, FEL / pallet forks, front snow blower, Rake, rear loaded - the SE comes with a lot of nice features - I'm 6'5 with size 14's - and I fit comfortably, HST set up a lot more comfortable than the others I had / tried - The JD & Kubota were decent machines but I'd take the Kioti....... The RK was not an option for me to try as I simply did not fit comfortably on it.

Seems like a high price on the rk. I have a tym dealer by my house ,and the tym t 394 which is the same tractor as the rk 37 goes for 19,500.

Sorry I forgot to mention both are hydrostatic versions. I was very comfortable operating both machines. I think I liked the RK loader slightly better. It just felt a little smoother. The RK specs are also just a little above the Kioti I believe but not much.

As far as service and being around in the future there's no guarantee any company will be around forever. I think RK has invested a lot into their program so I don't see it going away for the near future anyways. And the local RK store seems like they'd definitely be able to take care of me after the sale. But Kioti is definitely much more established, and I do feel the Kioti dealer would be able to provide better after the sale support if its ever needed.
