CK3510SE vs RK37

Was that the SE version though? I'm sure the dealer I'm working with can get really close to that on the standard 3510hst.

Good point, i think you're right. But the SE is only a handful of basic features, right? What does it add, $1-2k of options?

Yeah it gets you the dual rear remotes which I was quoted $900 just for those. Plus upgraded seat, rear work light, cruise control, linked pedal, rubber floor mat, adjustable links, and there may have been a couple other smaller things I can't think of right now. Plus I am having the 3rd function installed which is about $1000 in it's self. So I figure its about 3-4k in upgrades.

So factoring all of that in plus the 6' box blade I thought it was a fairly reasonable quote.

The SE is a pretty well equipped machine. That doesn't sound like a bad price with the add-ons. I can't tell you which one to buy. They are both good tractors. I know a couple of people with the Kioti and they haven't had any issues. Similarly, I have a friend that uses an RK37 in his residential construction business. He hasn't managed to break it yet.

I'm surprised how close the price is to a Kubota. I keep hearing how people buy the Korean brands because of the thousands of dollars saved.

My L3301 HST with loader was $21,800 new.

I believe in kubota quality but it is very very hard to buy a Kubota after operating a Kioti. They are more comfortable and smother to run. i like the looks of the RK tractors but I would not consider unless i had a TYM dealer for backup.

Don't know if the OP had a chance to try both machines yet.
But on the premise that he likes both tractors and dealers equal, we have the following:

RK37 and CK3510SE, both have very similar engines.
CK3510SE has a Daedong engine (bobcat parent company), it runs 2,000rpm lower than the RK37 3000rpm, plus is an slightly larger engine (1826cc vs 1627), might explain the lower rpm.
Keep in mind that the CK3510SE uses a Yanmar engine, which allot of folk really like.

In terms of Hydraulics, RK37 11gpm vs CK3510SE 11.7.

In the raw weight category the RK37 has an advantage of almost 500lb (3450 vs 2921).

Loader capacity, breakout force is very similar in both, 3464 for the kioti and 3435 for the RK.
But in lifting capacity at the pin the RK37 has a 281lb advantage over the Kioti (2116 vs 1835).

The RK will be able to slightly outmatch the Kioti when doing ground engaging work and loader work....At least on paper...
Yes these are all paper specs, real life experience with both machines might be different.

Wish you luck in your decision.

And that is exactly why you should buy a tractor. I would have loved to have tested a Kioti but the nearest dealer is 2-3 hrs away.

Just an update on things. I did end up going with the Kioti. It is supposed to be delivered this week. The dealer was getting everything assembled and ready for delivery.

Overall I just feel better about having an established dealer around for after the sale. Both tractors were very similar in comfort for me so I really didn't have a preference in that regard. I still like the specs a little better for the RK37 but factoring everything in I really couldn't see going that direction for a couple hundred extra lbs and lift capacity.

Enjoy the new tractor. I am sure it will serve you well.
