Quick Hitches Going a different route for a quick hitch - weld on euro style hooks

Branson sells their tractors on EU with Cat 1 hooks. The balls are, if I remember right, 44 mm in diameter.

I can source those easily, but where is the fun in that? I have a lathe and I always wanted to build a ball turning attachment, so I just made 2 sets of balls.

AMA has the 44mm balls, just no hooks to go with them. The cat 1-2 hooks take 56mm balls which they have with cat 1 & 2 pin hole sizes.

I guess that I should check on the availability of the cat 1 hooks.

Well I can get the cat 1 hooks, even ordered a pair. Not positive on the cost. Guessing about the same as the cat 1-2 hooks. Should have them sometime in April.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but it was this thread that first introduced me to these European Style hooks and balls quick hitch.
I just finished making mine work! I did a video:

I now have the true cat 1 hooks & ball sets available for those that might want them as well as the cat 1-2 & straight cat 2 sets.

There is a top link hook also available in both manual and hydraulic versions. I've been selling the European type quick hitch for years, I just don't push them.

Do you sell them pre welded like that? I would be interested in a set for my Branson but I cannot weld.
