Just like the title asks? What parts, attachments, tools, or anything else did you overlook when you first recieved your tractor?
I'm buying in the next two or three months, most likely a l3901 package deal with rotary cutter, and box blade. Been using tractors for a bit more than a decade and ready to step into something modern. Will use mostly on flat land for pasture cutting and gravel drive maintenance
Thanks in advance!

That's a tough question. My needs and yours are probably not parallel.

With that said. A tractor without attachments is a very inefficient means of transportation.

A paid in full receipt

I purchased a box blade and the MMM. Then bought my tiller a short time after that. I then purchased a bush hog. I wold have preferred to buy everything at the same time. I paid for my tractor and those implements in cash so I have what the above poster mentioned. I don't think I would change the order or wish I had something different.

You don't mention a FEL. I wouldn't buy one without it, make sure it has SSQA on it. Other attachments will come as the projects come to you. Possibly a set of forks for the FEL. Amazing how useful forks can be. Rear blade will shape a driveway easier than a box blade. Maybe a landscape rake to dress the top layer of gravel once you have it shaped the way you want it...

It never ends...

And a cab.

I assume people buy them with a FEL. Mine certainly as one. I have forks as well with an aftermarket SSQA from mytractortools.com Nice setup. The forks can also be attached to the 3pt.

A place to store it undercover. I didn't intend to upgrade until I had that, but my old tractor got tired too soon.

When I told my father that I was looking for my first tractor the first thing that he said was "Make sure that it has a loader."
As others have said, a frontend loader is the most used implement that I own. My 3 pth atttachments include a 5' mower, Backhoe, logging winch, single bottom land plow and disc harrow, and 5 foot rototiller; I use the loader for some purpose with every one of these other implements.

Easy question. Grapple. I waited two years or so before I bought a grapple after I bought my first tractor 12 years ago. The grapple made the tractor so much more useful. Next to my rotary cutter it is easily my most used implement. I rarely put the bucket on either of my tractors.

For me the things I missed were rear remotes - at least two sets three is better. And a third function valve on the FEL. Both can be added later but at a much greater cost than part of the original package.

I would have to agree^^^. All the branches I hauled to the burn pile without a grapple was a lot of wasted time I will never get back.
