Who rides motorcycles?

Yep, proper training can without a doubt replace real world experience!!
I've seen/known lots of people who've been riding a lot longer than that and have no clue how to ride, and they all say the same thing as they put their outriggers down and perform a perfect 23 point turn in a 2 lane road and ride away!

I see people put their leg down going around a rotary...

The correct term.

People who struggle to navigate them call 'em roundabouts in honor of the minutes & methods invested in finding their way out of one. ;)

I never saw one until my time at Ft Devens in '70.

Well now that I know what one is.. the reason they put their foot down is because they have no clue! Foot should never touch the ground if the bike is moving!

And whoever thought up the roundabout ought to be shot!!

Obviously the work of a Frenchman.

With the best intentions it was designed to keep the populace in practice for what to do in case the Nation is ever invaded.

They were designed for people that can't handle 4 way stop signs and other traffic control devices.
This way it's just yield signs to enter and the idiots can bull their way in and blame others for not backing off to allow them
priority as what in the heck they are doing is a higher priority than whatever you have going on.
It is amazing to me the number of accidents that occur in the roundabouts because some entitled idiot thinks
yield means everyone but him or her.
The best thing about them is finding the spark throwing lean on your bike, floor boards or pegs or center stands :cool2:

I was also a real roundabout hater, but I do have to admit... the four of them installed close to my city home (on the outskirts of suburbia) have RELLY improved the traffic flow, and they still haven't opened all the lanes of them yet.

Probably a rural homeowner that got tired of people turning around in his driveway. I have a roundabout not 1/4 mile from me and my neighbors driveway's. You can see it from our driveways and there is a sign right in front of my house that says " Roundabout ahead" . But inevitably these moron's think it's OK to use our driveways like it's their own property. They will pull into my driveway then cut across my yard and go out his driveway. WTF is wrong with people? Had a lady come up my driveway one day and said her GPS got her lost and she needed to turn around. Drove 1,000' up my driveway and told me this. I said you obviously missed the big "No Trespassing" sign also. She hauled it out of my driveway. I'm sooooooo tired of stupid people. OK, rant over.

I like the ones with the signs bent over and skidmarks going across 'em like crosshairs in a bomb sight.

I guess they're just easy targets.
