VERY hard to find pricing. Few dealers listed on their site and some of them go to a page with no information or just a list of other companies outside the US. One requires you to log in to see pricing. Using an unrelated search string, I found one dealer that listed prices but no way to 'add to cart' to get shipping costs, etc. They show a base price of $2K with some add on charges they don't explain.

Diesel subcompact tractors have lower power requirements, generally operate close to home so charge can use existing electric car technology. Subcompact tractors currently have no emission controls, so spew a lot of pollutants relative to engine power output.

I speculate first stage will be subcompact tractors to 2,000 pounds bare weight, second stage compact tractors to 3,000 pounds bare weight, including the sooty Kubota "loophole" L2501 and L2501clones, with Tier V emission controls required on tractors with a bare weight over 3,000 pounds.

Europe is legislating to prohibit sales of new fossil fueled tractors, highway vehicles and other equipment, led by Germany and Norway. California, Oregon and Massachusetts will follow, after study.

Electric grapple is one mark of transition to electric power for light tractors.

Hopefully, electric tractors won't look as ridiculous as the new tesla truck. 1980's psy-fi movies called, they want their future concept vehicles back.

I too looked at this at the NFMS, they said "about" $2000.00, which in my opinion is high for what it is. You can get a CTA, Frontier, or MTL grapple and a diverter setup for about the same money.

Yeh is what I'm thinking, for less than that $$ you could get all that, AND have the use of the front hydraulics for other stuff like a plow.

When they all get hungry, that law will go by the way. NO WAY a battery powered tractor can work hundreds of acres of ground. Battery power might be usable for a truck patch 1-5 acre parcel. Regardless of what the greenies would like you to think, most electric powered vehicles are not carbon neutral or pollution free. Most generator stations still use hydro-carbon fuel to generate electricity. I dont think we could ever produce enough electricity for 100% of the population by using solar and wind or even wave technology to produce electricity.
Since European countries already dont allow gasoline, then outlawing diesel would only leave them with electric. Lots of infrastructure would need to be developed prior to this happening. Rather than just buying everyone an electric vehicle, it would take years to turn all the fossil burners to electric. Most folks dont take kindly to forcing them to junk a perfectly good vehicle and then buy an outrageously expensive alternative. Electric companies are going to insist that they get compensated for their expense which means much higher utility rates.

Good luck to the Kalifornia state with their already enormous taxation.

It's just been announced, thats why...
In the first post there is Tony's video from the farm show, at 4:16 or so you can see it operate, thats the best you're going to get till they hit the streets.
