Hello, looking for advise, I have ford 1700 it had no hydraulic psi when hydraulic fluid gets hot, troubleshoot, replaced pump and steel line o rings cleaned hydraulic filter 3 times with new fluid, now I have hydraulics, I have 2000 psi following relief valve adjustment in the manual and adjust control valve setting, now when tractor is running the hydraulics squeal bad and small steel line to pump vibrating and making noise, when I raise bucket It makes loud squeal and will not lift and jumps erratically, I disconnected the loader implement block from the tractor so its the tractor only and still same issue, i have removed the relief valve and inspected and the control valve and all seem ok, normal wear, and lift piston please any help with information will be great

Does it do it in all positions of the 3 point lift position handle? Sometimes when they are out of adjustment, it will do this, but usually when the handle is all the way up. The arms will be physically all the way up, but the position valve doesn't think so, so it is trying to add more pressure and loading out against the relief valve.

Or it sounds like a blockage on your return port that is not allowing the oil to flow.

What adjustment and more info on the blockage ? Thanks for the help.

When is the last time it worked right? And what happened before you started swapping parts?
What adjustment and more info on the blockage ? Thanks for the help.

I purchased used not running at all, got it running and hydraulics never really worked, I replaced the oring kit in the hydraulic pump even though the housing was worn , the hydraulic never worked correctly, now that i have a new pump and i have flow and psi it makes loud noise with very little hydraulics, i wouldnt think that the new pump would have an internal issue, could the lift cylinder o-ring cause any of these issues?

here is the hyd section of the service manual. I think you need to look thru it and probably put on a pressure gauge to see what it is doing. `It almost seems like the pressure relief is set too high and maybe a blockage or something in not connected right. These are open center hydraulic systems, so when no control is being operated, the oil is circulated thru the system with no pressure. When you actuate a valve, that is when it builds pressure.

I would expect you have issues with the 3 point lift valve.

When you said you cleaned the filter, I assume you mean the screen in the tank. There is a pickup screen, but not an actual filter on the 1700's.

yes sir there is a filter canister in the axle housing a metal screen like canister i assume is the filter, I
have a gauge on the housing it and the relief psi is adjusted to 2000 psi, could i have a neutral control issue or something
similar from the internal control valve here is a pic of the filter, thanks for your help.
