Making your own CSV seems to take a pressure regulator with an adjustable output flow valve with an adjustable bypass valve set up to meet your demands. For a house system a 3\4 in globe valve for the main control with a 1/4 in. Needle bypass valve. Each marked at your settings so they can be flushed on a maintenance schedule.

Make your own CSV, I don't care. Everybody needs one because if you do it right it will solve your problems. But that "needle valve" bypass won't work. You need to figure out how to make a non-clogging bypass. We have about five patents on that subject you can read to see the best way to do it. Kind of like making your own beer. Anybody can do it, but it will probably cost less and taste better to just buy one of the many brands already available.

Pettrix, your thread is on a public forum. If someone mentions a CSV or a problem it can solve I am obliged to chime in. You shouldn't be so ugly to me. You have a VFD pump system, so someday soon you will probably need my help.

Guess you missed the flushed part. There is also the matter of water quality and maintaining a down hole treatment schedule.

Just broke the csv valve down into the individual off the shelf parts.
