That is my MO too, but till the mud passes, no splitting going on.

For sure. I'm lucky to live on a node of sand here in Michigan. My woods are still pretty mucky with topsoil, but my cleared areas, where I like to split, have already thawed and dried out. Early end to winter this year.... a weak one in general (I'm scared how bad the deer flies and skeeters might be this year....)

That first one was unique. The last one with the cross-cut knife amazed me. How much power does that take ?? The guy that hand splits gets all the crocked and crotched trees because all those processors need straight stuff it looks like.

Very impressive! Certainly it looks that everything is geared to small trees. Very nice.

I position the splitter as close as possible to my stack... Use the tractor to pull logs up as close as possible to the lean-to of the shelter. Saw, split and stack directly into the bin... Refreshments help as well..
In the last pic I've got almost all the bins full

Hello all,

I have a Kioti CK3510HST SE, with rear hydraulics. would anyone know if I would have acceptable performance with a 3pt log splitter? I would love one of those timber wolfs! by acceptable, I mean similar to my old troy bilt log splitter. its a 27 ton model.
