Why are the wet tile saws ( 40315, 69231, 97360, 60608, 62757 ) restricted in AZ, OK, OH and VA??

Same deal with the Earthquake 1/2" drive impact wrench though I don't have the screenshot. In the latest catalog. Wonder why myself.

My local store lets me use the 20% on clearance items and sale items, just not the excluded "brands".

They do work excellent, I have both. You cannot beat them for brake work with seized rotors and drums. 3 pumps and wham' it's off or they break the rotors in half. Either way for me is good. I quit beating on rotors and drums a long time ago. They are a bit heavy (takes an extra set of hands to get the on but once on, removal is quick and painless. The smaller one is good for harmonic balancers too.

Thank you Ranger. Had I done enough homework, I might have known about the shifter boot trick. The counter guy said something about the transmission fluid changing when aluminum transmissions became the norm. Was that the '88 cut off you mentioned? I'd had the fluid for over a year and can't remember exactly what he told me.

just a coincidence I think, pretty sure all Ranger transmissions are aluminum, I'd have to dig in to see what the other transmissions took for oil, I think there's 3 other manual transmissions from I think Toyo Koygo and Mitsubishi. The change to ATF came about for fuel economy and plain bearing use, the synchro's and oil flow are designed for the lighter oils.

Dexron-Mercon is good stuff for a lot of things besides automatic transmissions.. Mixed with acetone, it's the best penetrating / rust busting oil you can fine, light years better than anything else, PBlaster included. I mix it up in a spritz bottle and spray it on. Use it for air tool oil too. Won't gum up the carbon vanes in impact wrenches and sanders.

Does it come from Motorcraft in an orange bottle and smell kind of like dead meat or bad breath?
If it does, that must be what I bought. I've got to check the bottle.
