Its pretty simple to see what bad habits are costing society as a whole the most money. Remove emotion and use math.
with the legalization of drugs, I think we can see were moving in the wrong direction

Those have been addressed. Both are already illegal in most states. Smoking is legal.

I am pretty sure I will get infected but trying to be at the tail end when my chances of surviving may be better.

I figure I've got a 30% chance of getting infected. I figure I've got a 40% chance of surviving it due to my age (68). Otherwise I'm healthy.

The simple solution to making people live healthier and cut down on unhealthy habits...is to hit them in the pocket book...look at the trends in consumer spending...the cost of cable/sat TV has impelled millions to cut the cable etc...

Overweight people better look out they could end up getting taxed by the pound...

Well you brought up an action that is primarily illegal. We were previously talking about legal actions that should be illegal because they cost society in a lot of ways.
