It DOES affect it, and you can not put "some" finishes on wood that has been put in PEG.But how does it effect the way it takes a finish afterward?

I don't think that I would soak a piece of wood in antifreeze if I was going to make a table out of it. I have heard of people using it to rehydrate loose ax handles though.
It did !Did it work?
Well dang it anyway.. Blew the right front moving a skid full of wood this morning, NOT the way I wanted to start the day!
Man , Tire prices are all over the place for these things.. $110 each at the low end to $345 on the high end. But I got a pair coming in the morning!

Wow blew the tire right off the tractor, did it have a tube in it?
I find the more expensive tires are worth it, if you want the better traction they give and want them to last!Man , Tire prices are all over the place for these things.. $110 each at the low end to $345 on the high end. But I got a pair coming in the morning!

Definitely a tough way to start the day - side tracked right off. Bet your glad it wasn't a skid load of roofing shingles you had up around eaves height.
