I thought TBN was a drug free zone :D

If sugar was just introduced today it would be considered a dangerous drug. Look me in the eye and tell me it is not addictive.

Report from fortress New Zealand Tuesday 8th. Total population almost 5m. Confirmed 943 probable 217, recovered 241 deaths 1. This is the 3rd week of a 4 week lockdown. Over 70+ stay at home do not go out, anywhere. Under 70 can go to supermarket, pharmacy, petrol station only. Restaurants, all fast food, (Mc Ds etc) bars, liquor stores closed. Under 70 can exercise ,walk or cycle but only locally. Not allowed to drive to a park/cycle track and walk/cycle. Can walk on beach, if local, but no swimming, surfing, fishing (either by boat or from the rocks). They don't want emergency services (police, fire, ambulance) having to come out and rescue people. Late autumn (fall) here country very dry, still some heat in the sun. I can't have a fire to burn prunings in case fire services have to come out. Very little traffic on the roads.

Apart from that; life is good

You could snort it too!

So as I usually do, when someone suggests something stupid, I look up videos to see if some idiot has actually done that.... dozens of videos of people snorting pixie sticks!

Not much to report from FORTRESS TASMANIA this morning (Tuesday, 7 Apr. @ 1027). All's quiet, although the death toll for the entire country has risen to 45. All of those who have succumbed have been elderly or had previous conditions. 60 to 90's range.

We're being cautious... life carries on.
Was talking to a buddy in Melbourne this afternoon and he told me about a girl and mom that got pulled over by the police for violating the 'stay at home' order. The officer asked what they were doing on the roads and she said that they were just driving around practicing as she was a new driver and learning. The officer ticketed her and it was a steep fine. Even though they didn't go any destination and interact with other folk! That's strict! We still need to live and grow. Somebody is missing the point.

No one is wearing pants and you think this?

Well maybe not pants but I am wearing pajamas all day since I am on covid19 house arrest. At least they are not orange and I do not have a ball and chain on my ankle. Pajamas should be a good covid filter, do you think?

Seriously, our state took this as a priority since we were the first to be recorded, and today it looks like our numbers show a flattening of the curve. Glad to participate, my wife and I took this 100% serious from day 1.

As long as it is a "challenge" some idiot will actually do it. I am waiting on the russian roulette challenge. I sure someone would take them up on it.

Saw that story on the news here last night. It seems now that some common sense will prevail as the reporter said that the fine could be withdrawn.
The self isolation rules are strict and there has been some confusion because the individual Australian states set their own "variations" based on national requirements. (No doubt the same with different states in the US). However the message has been that you must stay at home unless you have a very good reason for being out.

The New South Wales police, in particular, having been getting a fair bit of criticism for being over zealous. This cartoon was in 'The Australian" newspaper on the weekend.
I thought it was pretty funny.
