Maybe I'm uninformed, but how close is a zookeeper to a tiger ? Makes me wonder if 6 feet is enough.

I never order takeout online but did yesterday...

Mom is tired of my cooking so Panda Express has a $20 family meal promo online only

Did the order and paid... left work and pulled up to the stand alone store and where the door is found a metal shelf rack and on the middle shelf was a neatly folded bag with my name in large print and receipt stapled at the top.

Could not have been easier... the two workers inside had masks and gloves.

Large mammals especially predators that rely on their sense of smell can draft a heck of a lot more air than the average person might imagine...people tend to think of animals in their own sense...

Mounting evidence for Covid-19 treatments - Andrew Thomas - Medium

"Here is a layman explanation:
COVID-19 causes prolonged and progressive hypoxia (starving your body of oxygen) by binding to the heme groups in hemoglobin in your red blood cells. People are simply desaturating (losing o2 in their blood), and that’s what eventually leads to organ failures that kill them, not any form of ARDS or pneumonia. All the damage to the lungs you see in CT scans are from the release of oxidative iron from the hemes, this overwhelms the natural defenses against pulmonary oxidative stress and causes that nice, always-bilateral ground glass opacity in the lungs. Patients returning for re-hospitalization days or weeks after recovery suffering from apparent delayed post-hypoxic leukoencephalopathy strengthen the notion COVID-19 patients are suffering from hypoxia despite no signs of respiratory’tire out’ or fatigue.....'

As I understand it the lungs normally have a coating containing ascorbic acid that should deal with the release of oxidative iron from the hemes on the fly preventing the 'ground glass' appearance from ever developing if we are not low on antioxidants in our body. As this line of thought gets out there I expect a run on Amazon for any type of antioxidants. :)

This 'antioxidant shortage' view could explain why the young children are spared most of the time and we older folks get hammered. Pre existing health issues would tend to soak up any spare antioxidants in our bodies.

The iron connection may some day help explain why hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and chloroquine (CQ) are found helpful in some cases of COVID-19 recovery. The below may be connected some way.

COVID-19: Attacks the 1-Beta Chain of Hemoglobin and Captures the Porphyrin to Inhibit Human Heme Metabolism

Wouldn't that be wonderful if the dogs could do screening.

My hound could definitely detect it. Communication would be the hurdle.

Glad she is in custody. A hefty fine and a small sentence would see appropriate if she is not positive, a large sentence if she is actually positive. Snap chat and Tik Tok sites seem to be cesspools for this kind of thinking. Oh sure I imagine much if not most of the content is harmless if inane, but it always seems there is so much dangerous content and threatening content as well.
