"It feels so awesome to buy all the masks! I didn't leave a single mask for the Americans!" is the title of this video she posted on a Chinese social media site named Weibo. Someone put the video on twitter, which I viewed before it was scrubbed. I won't relay what I read on Twitter as some here might find it too political.

These videos are a trap to ensnare certain people......and it worked. Then, the hate spreads like.....a virus.

Wife read an article on FB yesterday about the CV cases by country.. there are a number of countries that are heavy users of the malaria drugs (for malaria) and they have low or no cases of CV19.. I am wondering if Docs are using the malaria drugs on the people dying? All the articles I have read don't mention any deaths when they say how wonderful the drugs are... if they are not using the drugs, why not?

That's just it...all the recommendations to the public would have been mostly ignored until the general public got woken up...until they got scared they would have done little...if sporting events had not been canceled people would have went anyway...look at the spring break idiocy and that was even after an actual threat was known...

There really was nothing that could have been done that would have changed anything other than possibly some better chosen words and warnings...

And with such a partisan legislature it would have taken just as much time to get funds released for equipment and supplies...

EXACTLY!!! We cannot do things the same way a communist country can. Heck, we cannot even get churches to close and people are dying.

Might explain the low deaths in India. It has a huge population and not many deaths at all. I wonder how many there take drugs like that. Island Tractor may know.

Largest daily death toll of any nation so far in Covid pandemic. Kinda shocking to read that on the same day that China reports zero deaths for the first time.

I find this reluctance to acknowledge that this drug is working JUST because the president expressed hope and a "feeling" that it would work despicable. Just despicable. If president Obama had expressed the same personal "feeling" these same people HERE would be touting his wonderful prediction. Many doctors worldwide are touting this drug and trials are continuing in NY and other places. There is enough evidence that this drug is efficacious for at least some people in some circumstances that trials need to continue. To continue to disparage president Trump as a "pretender" and to put your head in the sand and deny the possibilities of this drug combo JUST because Trump talked it up is just stupid. To be quite honest, I didn't want to jump in here and make this already political thread even more political, BUT some of you just won't shut your political mouths.
