How to lift 1600# log without the forks. Not easy.

April is switch-to-forks-from-4n1 season....

Now if you only knew a local guy with a sawmill that you could barter to get some new boards for that trailer.

Yeaaa, no kidding! I thought that was going to happen, until I looked my logs over and saw that I don't have any 16' white oak or black locust!

I knew I had some 16' PT lumber though! lol

The Kioti CK30 is about 30 gross hp and weighs about 5300# as configured.

That's an estimate, based on published weights of naked tractor, FEL, backhoe, and subframe. Not weighed.

I think 4570Man meant the log, or at least that's what I want to know.

I guessed it was about a 4 X 4 and looked at a log weight calculator - a 4' diameter doug fir log 8' long weighs over 3800 lbs. And DF is fairly light. It looks like a good wt to me. Strong FEL on Kioti's. A lot more than my 30 hp L3010 can pick.
