Ever regretted buying something? Be honest...

About 20 years ago I bought a small 4x4 and decided that maybe a winch could be useful as I often went 'bush' gold hunting.
Well I never got around to fitting it and then I sold the 4x4 and forgot about the winch until I found it today.
I hooked it up to a battery to see if it worked and it ran OK but I have no idea what I am going to do with it now....

In my back bedroom - a brand new jet pump. Ten years ago I converted to a submersible pump for the house well. It was to be used as a spare.

What is this, a trick question? Of course I've bought stuff and then regretted it... but I'm a sucker for a gadget that I might use sometime in the future.

In a way I'm glad that this year everything is shut down, especially AGFEST, were I'd inevitably buy things that 'I never knew that I needed!'

But I've GOT them. (lifting strops, nibbler, clamp set, tripod light, dremmel kit, solar lighting kit, oh the list does go on...)

Boy! I don't know if I could list all those times!
Not so much the tractors and equipment...I like my 4520, but I wish I could have swung something with a factory cab rather then an aftermarket (Curtis Cab)

Buying a MX6 mower Feb.2008 and not use until the field needed mowing and have the bottom fall out with a broken shaft.
no warranty or parts.
purchased a used worn Bush hog brand .and have mowed this past 12 years only needing to be greased.
put a sower taste in mouth on any other J.D. equipment.

I couldn't begin to guess how many times I've done that. I have a winch and windshield for my last ATV which never have been used. I bought the windshield in 2000 or 2001.
There are so many projects I've planned but never found the time or know-how to do; I'm reminded every time I clean my shed.

There are always regrets when buying something. Especially since there is usually no cut and dried ' perfect ' answer in what you should buy. Life is a journey of choices. The trick is to stay around as long as possible to make lots of good/bad choices. And to be able to keep your wits about you to be able to be atch a boot it..... STAY SAFE

Yep, been lots and lots of things that I've bought and later regretted, but the worst in my lifetime was when I bought a new 1966 Ford Fairlane that I'm sure was the worst lemon Ford ever produced.
