Multipurpose 2" Receiver Fork Plate for FEL

With the coronavirus keeping us self isolated, it has given me some time to add a fel hitch receiver to the bucket of my Kubota. Here are a few pictures. I used a 6” long 2” receiver and cut a hole in the back of the bucket to allow longer bars to be inserted. I made a cap to stay in place when I’m not towing.View attachment 649223View attachment 649225View attachment 649226View attachment 649228

Piercing the back of the bucket adds a lot of strength. IMG_0926.JPG
Use the receiver more for barbed wire dispenser, bale spear, vise, sprayer platform as much as trailers.

LFE, if you do much brush work (til you build a grapple, anyway) you could make a couple more 4' forks for your fel setup - put those into the outer two vertical receivers, you'll be amazed at how big a load of brush you can haul in one trip. Just push into the pile, raise/curl, gives you a "cradle" - Drive to burn pile (or shredder, whatever), dump, repeat as necessary

Might wanna reverse the horizontal ones if brush is very small, otherwise your forks might skate OVER the bottom stuff. Other possibility of course, is if bucket isn't curled quite ENOUGH, they could dig in... Steve

Hey you folks are pretty dang handy at fabricating accessories for your FEL!!! I have a question for y'all, I have a road with a ditch on the up hill side that needs to be cleaned regularly. I don't have a back hoe on my tractor, so I have been trying to come up with an attachment that would attach to the right side of my FEL bucket that would act as a shovel. I need something that would scoop out the ditch even if it was a few feet at a time. Any ideas??? Thanks much! Rowdy

I put one on the top of my bucket like Smokeydog when i first got it, along with 2 hooks, in line with each arm. I've used the heck out of the hooks. I've tried using the receiver to move my old trailer, but it just sits too high up to be useful. Eventually I bought one that goes over the lip of the bucket and has a big bolt with a giant T Handle to secure it. Works great. For what they were charging, it wasn't worth building my own, and I really didn't have the time right then either. If I had other uses like the barb wire reel you show, then it might be more useful.
