Neighbor dog on my property harassing wildlife

Years ago my neighbor's dog from across the road found that my nicely plowed driveway was an easy place to do his business. I explained to the owner how my dog thought that was a tasty treat but I didn't... he made it clear that he agreed with me and I never had another problem.

The shock training collar reads like a good idea. But how would you get the wife to wear it and have it shock her when the dog left the yard?

Pellet in the butt works, and never admit it even if caught

I do not understand why so many think firearms are the answer. Direct personal action will solve the problem. Unless you just want to shoot something.

Pat, the reason is that many of us have found that talking with the neighbor does nothing but cause more problems. My personal experience has been that the neighbors who are irresponsible about their dogs in the first place are unlikely to do anything about the problem, whether it be barking or wandering or whatever. The OP has said that he likes his neighbor and thinks that a second conversation will do the trick, and I hope it does. But I wasn't so lucky. I've finally decided to make no more comments to neighbors about problem dogs, but to just deal with it quietly myself, just as I would deal with a coyote causing problems.
I'm not talking about a dog that just comes by once in a while to say hello, but one that chases livestock or wildlife.

Just what do you suggest when "Direct personal action" doesn't solve the problem?

Good fences make good neighbors. One of the first things I did was fence in my property with net wire and chain link fencing. It not only keeps other things out but keeps all my animals in (except my pea cock who flies over it like it isn't there).

Good Morning Gary did the storm last night affect your area??
East of Malvern and HWY 229 shut down until the power line can be removed from the road.
Been a difficult year to get anything done. Viruses and storms. Looking for sunshine.
